Our transportation choices and policies have large environmental, economic and social impacts. It is a major contributor to air pollution and greenhouse gases; 27% of U.S. greenhouse gases are from transportation. Transportation represents 28% of total energy consumed in the U.S.
Join us for two lively panel discussions on the latest developments in bike share and electric vehicle technology and incentives. Panelists will include experts in these fields as well as local leaders helping to shape the coalitions needed to foster more sustainable transportation on Long Island.
