Downtown Riverhead Walking Tour

Thank you to Supervisory Walter and his staff for a terrific and informative tour of Downtown Riverhead!  From environmental and accessibility improvements to Grangabel Park to new shared workspace at Thirty West Main and the renovated Suffolk Theater, Downtown Riverhead is in the midst of a true renaissance.  Below are some photos from along the tour route.  Be sure to check back a www.apalongisland.org for future tours!

Come out and join your fellow planners, engineers and community development colleagues for an afternoon touring the recent development and economic development activity taking place in Riverhead.  Tour hosts include Supervisor Sean Walter; Jill Lewis, Deputy Supervisor; Chris Kempner, Community Development Director; and Jefferson V. Murphree, AICP, Building and Planning Administrator.

An informal networking event will immediately follow the tour.
