The Greater Long Island Clean Cities Coalition and Long Island’s Climate Smart Communities Coordinators, Cameron Engineering and the Sustainability Institute at Molloy, are hosting free alternative fuel vehicle and fueling station symposia in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
The morning sessions (10AM-12PM) will focus on electric vehicles and charging stations and the afternoon sessions (1PM-3PM) on compressed natural gas and propane vehicles and fueling stations. Vendors and refreshments will be available from 12PM to 1PM. The events will bring together municipal leaders, fleet managers, and vehicle and fueling station experts to explore new technologies and strategies to develop cleaner, more efficient fleets. State representatives will discuss financing and incentives and fleet case studies will be presented. Cooperative fleet initiatives, including shared charging/fueling stations and group purchasing plans will be discussed. Space is limited, reserve a seat at info@gliccc.org.
