In Memory of Michael A. Levine, AICP: 1966-2025

Last week the Long Island planning community unexpectedly lost a great man and a great planner. Michael Levine was an experienced and thoughtful planner – and a key member of our APA family. Michael played a critical role in establishing the Long Island Section of the APA NY Metro Chapter, serving as its first director from 1996-1998. He continued to contribute and has helped the Section grow for nearly 30 years. We are all thankful for his guidance, expertise and commitment to serving the public.
Information for Michael’s service and visitation hours are provided below. Please keep Michael and the Levine family in your thoughts during this difficult time.
