Last week the Long Island planning community unexpectedly lost a great man and a great planner. Michael Levine was an experienced and thoughtful planner – and a key member of our APA family. Michael played a critical role in establishing the Long Island Section of the APA NY Metro Chapter, serving as its first director from 1996-1998. He continued to contribute and has helped the Section grow for nearly 30 years. We are all thankful for his guidance, expertise and commitment to serving the public.
